Description

These fittings are designed to be installed on a wall or a vertical surface to allow the MDPE pipe to change direction by 90 degrees. They are commonly used in water supply and distribution systems, including irrigation and industrial water systems.

MDPE wall plate elbows consist of two parts, the elbow itself and a backing plate that is screwed or bolted onto the wall or surface. The MDPE pipe is inserted into the elbow and secured using a compression fitting or similar method. The backing plate provides additional support for the fitting and helps to distribute the load across the wall or surface.

Installation

  1. Insert a pipe liner into the pipe
  2. Loosen the retaining nut without removing it to ensure easy insertion
  3. Gently insert the pipe into the fitting making sure to push past the o-ring seal
  4. Tighten the nut by hand then finish with a strap wrench
