Description

This type of coupling is used to repair or join two sections of MDPE pipe that have been damaged, either by cracking, splitting, or accidental breakage. The repair coupling is designed to be installed over the damaged section of the pipe, effectively sealing it and restoring the integrity of the piping system.

Installation

  1. Insert a pipe liner into the pipe
  2. Loosen the retaining nut without removing it to ensure easy insertion
  3. Gently insert the pipe into the fitting making sure to push past the o-ring seal
  4. Tighten the nut by hand then finish with a strap wrench
